Physical and Chemical Properties

HTDI is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature, with a boiling point of 127-129°C/267Pa or 87-90°C/133Pa.

Characteristics and Uses

Methylcyclohexyl diisocyanate belongs to aliphatic cyclic compounds. Due to the absence of a benzene ring in its structure, it is stable under light and can be used to prepare non-yellowing polyurethane products.
